Subject to Change is a four piece band consisting of Sam Harris, Noah Feldshuh, Nick Farhi, and Allon Brann. Styles of music played include hip hop, funk, soul, and especially rock.
Subject to Change started out when Sam and Nick, who had been jamming together for some time, decided to start a band. Noah, a new guitar player, was asked to play with the band, which was first named The Bassment. Sam and Nick felt that the band was incomplete, and asked Allony, who was just starting out on bass, to come jam with them. The session was a success, and the group was now complete. Over the years, the name changed frequently. Names included The Characters, Pocket, and As One, until they settled on Subject to Change. The group made their public debut in 2002 at the Boynton Middle School Variety Show. The act was very popular, and included a rap intro, the song "Ticket to Dream", and a funky jam session to end the night. The show caused word about the group to spread all over town. The band now searches for gigs, and they continually write and play new music.
